For nearly 60 singers coming together for the first time to achieve this much togetherness, blend, and rhythmic precision is a huge achievement. Well done! And thanks to Jo Churchill MP for introducing us to the Singing for Syrians charity which the singers supported.

Leslie Olive says: This was an evening described as "a triumph" by people whose opinions I respect. There has been enormously encouraging feedback from many discerning people: and quite right too, for the fabulous playing throughout from the SPO and a transcendentally wonderful performance of the Mendelssohn concerto from Savitri Grier, whose playing just goes on developing and becoming more, and more, and more masterly. Huge thanks to private donors who made this concert possible through a new and imaginative funding model.
